Lindsey Holsten | LCSW, CADC, RPT
Child Therapist & Adolescent Therapist
No matter how hard you try to keep your child safe from harm, life has a way of throwing you unexpected curve balls. The good news is, children are amazingly resilient and can recover quickly from almost any challenge when provided the necessary supports.
As a Registered Play Therapist, I have several years of training to speak a child’s first language, play. Most children do not have the ability to express their thoughts and feelings the way adults do. Instead, children play out the most important parts of their lives using toys to symbolically recreate the conflicts and dramas of their inner and outer world.
Through play, I meet your child where they’re at and work with them to introduce healthier coping skills and strategies.
Bullying, grief, anxiety, trauma, defiant behaviors, ADHD, prolonged sadness and emerging social skills are all issues that can be addressed through Play Therapy.
I look forward to walking the path with you and your child as you start to regain a sense of deep satisfaction and renewed hope for the future of your family!
