Jon Caes | MSW, LCSW

Child Therapist & Play Therapist

As parents, we yearn for our children to be confident, vibrant and have strong relationships with others! Along the way our children may experience difficulties fulfilling this ideal.

We worry if they will be able to function and meet the challenges ahead. Your child may be struggling with anxiety, depression, peer interactions, coping with strong emotions and other difficult situations.

In fact, these needs may be causing impairment in our relationships with our child, our family and also with school.

As a child therapist and clinical social worker for over 25 years, I can help you and your child unlock solutions and discover strengths that improve emotional functioning, promote healing and build stronger relationships.

I look forward to starting this journey with you!

Jon Caes’ Impact on Children & Parents

At the start of the school year, our daughter was crying daily due to anxiety and trouble engaging with new people.

Because of Jon, she now loves school and has made a lot of great, new friends.  She is far more confident and independent thanks to the support and compassion Jon has provided.   La Grange Parent of a First Grader.

Mr. Caes is a superb Social Worker. One that is more than willing to take the time to learn about my daughter’s unique needs including Anxiety, ADHD, Executive Function deficits and Social Skills deficits.

He has always collaborated with me as a parent and works readily with all other professionals to help my daughter have success.

Parent of an eleven year old.

Our daughter was struggling with social anxiety, especially when engaging in larger group activities. She would shut down socially and try to avoid these situations whenever possible.

Jon Caes worked through this with her and helped her develop skills and confidence in herself and her friendships and she now functions much better in these situations. La Grange Park Parent of a ten year old.
