A MESSAGE FROM LEIGH

As a parent you want your child to feel happy, healthy, and loved. As children grow, roadblocks pop up along the way. Those roadblocks can look like anxiety, big emotions, meltdowns, or more frequent arguments; leaving you frustrated and confused because you aren’t sure how to help

I believe that, together, we can help your child. My role is to help your child use tools to break down the roadblocks, while also equipping you, the parent, with your own set of tools.

Over the last 10 years, I have helped hundreds of families break through their roadblocks and create stronger and deeper relationships

When I begin working with kids and their families, I first meet with the parents. Next, I will create a plan that best suits the child’s and family’s needs. Finally, I’ll begin the therapeutic process with your child, partnering with the parents along the way.

It’s hard work being a parent, and hard work being a child. It’s even harder when things are misaligned and everyone is overwhelmed. Schedule an appointment today and let’s work together.

5 Common Signs of Sports Performance Anxiety in Children

When your child athlete is participating in their sport, several things are happening. Most are positive, like sportsmanship, motor skills, self-confidence, social skills development, exercise, friendship, and fun.

5 Ways to Improve Your Children’s Sibling Relationships

When siblings aren’t getting along, it can be exhausting for the entire family. As a parent, your hope for your family is one of love, support, and togetherness.

“Our middle schooler has severe anxiety about speaking in school. There are only a few trusted adults she will talk to. Because of the connection Leigh created with her, we are seeing a much more self-confident and relaxed 7th grader.”
