As a parent, you want to raise an emotionally well-balanced child.

The problem is many children struggle with uncontrollable outbursts, aggression, and anxiety.

This is a lot for a family to manage and many parents tend to personalize this and feel shame and guilt asking themselves, “what did I do wrong?” And many parents begin to feel hopeless because they don’t know how to help their child.

I want you to know there is hope and there’s no shame.  Having young children of my own, I understand how challenging it is to be a parent.

For the last 10 years, I’ve been helping children overcome anxiety, anger, and equipping parents with tools to feel more stable.

Here’s how I do it:  First, schedule a parent-intake session.  In this session, I meet just with the parent to hear their story and to create goals on how to best support their child.

Second, I’ll begin meeting with the child individually and checking in with parents every week.

Third, parents will begin to experience growth in their child and feel confident in their role as a parent.

So if you want to stop feeling overwhelmed and get the support your child needs to manage their emotions, schedule an appointment today.

3 Breathing Exercises to Reduce Anxiety

Parenting a child with anxiety can be challenging. As a parent, you want to do everything you can to reduce your child’s anxiety and help them thrive. While there are many things you can do to help, one of the most simple and profound ways to manage and overcome anxiety is breath work.

3 Ways to Manage Screen Time In Your Home

As a society we are consumed with technology. In many ways, this is wonderful. But when it comes to parenting and technology where do we draw the line? On one hand, technology entertains, educates, and inspires our children. On the other hand, it is associated with various mental health concerns such as poor concentration, negative self image, and anxiety.

“Mrs. Kimber Lubert has been an amazing asset to my son’s growth over the last year. From managing his therapy sessions through the COVID-19 pandemic to attending school meetings and accommodating his needs she has been amazing.  Kimber has connected with my son and he always looks forward to seeing her. She regularly exceeded my expectations. Thank you so much for your knowledge and support through this journey!”
